word problem: solve the equation

I am planning for my wedding and I went to Walmart to buy some items for the big event. I bought 5 spools for ribbon for and 15 dowel rods which cost me $16 total. However when I noticed I didn’t have enough ribbon so I purchased 4 more spools and 5 more dowel rods for my total for the second trip to be $10 to complete my project. When I got home I noticed that they lumped my item together and I need to figure out how much each ribbon spool and dowel rod cost.



5S + 15D = 16
4S + 5D= 10

8S + 10D =20
