Hey guys, I was instructed to define two variables and two equations for this word problem:

Jordan pays 6 cents per minute for calls on her cell phone made during thw weekend. Jordan pays 24 cents per minute during the week. This month Jordan's bill was $44.40. She paid for 320 minutes. How many minutes did Jordan use her cell phone during the weekend?

I defined my variables

x= weekend minutes
y=weekday minutes

Set up my equations

x + y=320
.6x + .24y=44.40

Solved for y in the first equation

y=-1x + 320

I put that in for y in the other equation.

.6x + .24(-1x+320)=44.40

Solved for x

.36x-76.8= 44.40

.36x= 121.2

x=336.6666

Is this right, i thought it should come out to an even number, or should i just round and say it is 337 weekend minutes? Thank you for any help in advance! :D
