Here we go again...

Problem statement - without a single line of work.

I'll start you off..

Let

The number of One bedroom apartment = N

The number of Two bedroom apartment = T

It is given:

N + T = 12........................................................... (1)

What else is given?

We can help - we only help after you have shown your work - or ask a specific question (not a statement like "Don't know any of these")

Please share your work with us indicating exactly where you are stuck - so that we may know where to begin to help you.

I don't know what else is given but would I set it up like this y=360n+450 and the other equation would be y=4,950 is this correct.

Neither of those makes any sense until you tell us what "n" and "y" represent!

Subhotosh Khan suggested that you use
"The number of One bedroom apartment = N

The number of Two bedroom apartment = T"

but apparently you chose not to do that.

The n means #of one bedroom apartment and y is part of the equations. HELP SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

Just walk me through this problem

"Walking you through this problem" is equivalent to feeding a man a fish. The man eats for one meal, and YOU, the student, see the result for ONE problem. But....the man needs to eat tomorrow and the next day and the next day....

And YOU, the student, will have to be able to solve tons of problems like this one. Seeing the solution for one problem will most likely NOT instruct you on methods to handle other similar problems. We've tried to tell you that studying (cramming!) for a placement test is not going to help you. If you do not know how to solve this problem, then you need to be placed in a college class which covers this material.

Ok...I'm done now.
