Hello First time user here!!! I need help on my word problems. Here is one.

The world's largest sign for Coca-cola is located in Arica, Chile. The rectangular sign has a length of 400ft and has an area of 52,400sq ft. Find the width of the sign.

Please help me to solve and to write as an expression

this is a simple question really

the answer could be found with the equation "400x=52400" since length times width = area, it would be 400(length)times x(width)= 52400(area)

I'm not sure what you mean by "writing as an expression", but solution is fairly straight-forward. Since (area) is (length) times (width), then (width) is (area) divided by (length).
