I am stuck and need help for these EoC review questions.

1. The price per person of renting a bus varies inversely with the number of people renting the bus. It costs $18 per person if 43 people rent the bus. About how much will it cost per person if 57 people rent the bus?

A. $36.17
B. $13.58
C. $16.67
D. $15.86

2. A forest has a deer population of 290 deer that increases at an annual rate of 9%. Write an exponential function to model this situation, then use the function to estimate the deer population in 5 years. (Round your answer to the nearest whole number.)

A. 344
B. 375
C. 446
D. 487

~I need the steps in solving these word problems and also, explain to me what 'inversely' and 'exponential function' mean exactly :)

"Varies inversely" means the if "C" is the cost per person and "p" is the number of people, then C= k/p for some constant k. When p= 43, C= 18. What is k?

2. A forest has a deer population of 290 deer that increases at an annual rate of 9%. Write an exponential function to model this situation, then use the function to estimate the deer population in 5 years. (Round your answer to the nearest whole number.)
An exponential function is of the form D= AB^y where y is the number of years D is the number of deer. When y= 0, the D= AB^0= A and the initial population is 290. Since the population increases 9%, the next year, when y= 1, D= 290+ .09(290)= 316 dear.. That is D= AB^1= AB= 315. That gives you two equations to solve for A and B.
