Uhm actually it is an equation
-2log3 1/x + 1/3 log3 x

what you have written is a logarithmic expression, not an equation.

if you need to simplify the expression ...

\(\displaystyle \L -2\log_3 \left(\frac{1}{x}\right) + \frac{1}{3} \log_3(x)\)

\(\displaystyle \L 2\log_3 \left(\frac{1}{x}\right)^{-1} + \frac{1}{3} \log_3 (x)\)

\(\displaystyle \L 2\log_3(x) + \frac{1}{3} \log_3(x)\)

\(\displaystyle \L \frac{7}{3} \log_3(x)\)
