two forces one not shown

Greetings Mathematicians,
I was wondering if somebody could please check my work. IT does not state in the question but it needs to be written out in vector unit form as well. Thank you!second force work.jpgsecond force problem.jpg
 
F= ma so, since m= 2kg and a= 5 m/s^2, toward the right, F= 10 N to the right: F= 10 i. Since we are told that Q= 10 j, Letting P be the unknown force, Q+P= F so that P= F- Q= 10i- 10j. You have the sign on the vertical component wrong. (Since Q is directed upward, and the resultant motion is horizontal, the vertical component of P must be downward.)
