Im trying to get into the field of water treatment
ive taken a bunch of courses and studied my *** off but every time the math kicks my ***.

I need help finding out how to solve problems for:
Polymers % and lbs

polymer, lbs = (water, lbs)
---------------------------- i dont know it which is why its hard to do anything for practice because i cant find it anywhere

Polymer, % (Polymer, lbs x 100%)
----------------------------
(Polymer, lbs + Water, lbs)

Feed rate, mL/min = (gpd)(3785 mL/gal)

----------------------------
(1440 min/d)
or

Number of mL/min = (Number of gallons used)(3785 mL/gal)
-----------------------------------------------------
(1440 min/d)

Chemical Feed, lb/d = (Flow, mgd)(Dosage, mg/L)(8.34lbs/gal)

Chemical Feed, lb/d = (Flow, mgd)(Dosage, mg/L)(8.34lbs/gal)
-----------------------------------------------------
(percent purity / 100%)
When not 100% pure

i dont even know where to begin

and sadly i could use some help with simple conversations like seconds => minutes => hours => days =>

:confused::confused::(

I have absolutely no idea what question you are asking! Please post again without the "pretty" formatting.

Some of these Google hits contain examples and practice problems for the math you describe.

If you have a specific question while working a particular exercise, please start a new thread and post the entire problem, explaining what you've tried or where you're stuck.
