I was enrolled into college algebra because it's a core class but I didn't realize how hard it was going to be. I have to finish a pre-requisite review by saturday and it seems I've forgotten how to do basic algebra 2 math. I'm currently stuck on a question about functions.
For f(x)=2x^2-3 and g(x)=7x-x^2, find f(-2)
is the question I'm stuck on. I understand f(x) means its just a function of x and means the same thing as y but that's all I know. I don't understand the question and I don't know where to go from there. Can anyone help me??
