Let f(x)= e^9x -1
-----------
x

Make a table of values of
f(x) for x=0.1, 0.01, 0.001, 0.0001, -0.1, -0.01, -0.001, and -0.0001. Make a conjecture about the value of x --> 0

Also:

Find the derivative of g(x)=1/x at x=2 algebraically

any help would be much appreciated

Hello calculusplease:

We request that you show your efforts, when asking for help.

For example, you need to show the numbers you got when you evaluated f(0.1), f(0.01), f(0.001), and f(0.0001)

Please read this summary page about our posting guidelines. Thank you.

Let f(x)= e^9x -1
-----------
x

Please confirm that function f looks like this:

\(\displaystyle f(x) = \dfrac{e^{9x} - 1}{x}\)

Make a conjecture about the value of f(x) as x --> 0

Note my edit in red above. Is this how your materials state the instruction?

Thank you for clarifications. :cool:
