Strictly speaking it means you have to integrate the function, y, which is defined as "5x+ 3". You could answer the question by integrating both sides of that equation (which is what I presume you mean by "integrate the equation") writing the left side as \(\displaystyle \int y dx\) and the right side as the actual integration.
