Hi guys, I understand how to solve limits and what to do, I am just stuck on how to start this problem

lim triangleX approaches 0 (2(x+triangleX) -2x)/(triangleX)

I know that the triangle means the change in, but I don't know what to do with it

Hi guys, I understand how to solve limits and what to do, I am just stuck on how to start this problem

lim triangleX approaches 0 (2(x+triangleX) -2x)/(triangleX)

I know that the triangle means the change in, but I don't know what to do with it

[2(x+δx)-2x]/(δx) = [2x+2*δx-2x]/(δx) = 2*δx/δx = 2

Where are you stuck??!!
