So my calc 1 didn't really cover integrals at all and now starting calc 2 I am having trouble with it and not knowing how to do u-substitution.

I need help evaluating the integral 1/(xsqrt(lnx))dx

If you could help step by step that would be great.

Start with:

u = ln(x)

du = ??

u = ln(x)

du = ??

du= 1/x

 

[stapel]

du= 1/x

Almost: du = (1/x) dx.

Now do some substitution...
