There are two Phone Companies A and B. A charges $8 for the 1st 2 hours then afterwards charges 0.03 cents for every minute. On the other hand Company B charges $5 for the 1st 3 hours then afterwards charges 0.05 cents for every minute. When will the charges from both companies cost the same and how much?

Please advice on the solution to the problem.

The expression "0.03 cents" means "0.0003 dollars", or "$0.0003". Is this what you meant? Or did you mean "3 cents", which is "0.03 dollars" and written as "$0.03"? Same question for the other phone company.
