Can you calculate dy/du if y = 1/u² ?

Either use the "quotient rule" or write the function as $\displaystyle y= t(t- 1)^{-2}$ and "product rule" and "chain rule".

The main rule is the product rule since t * (t - 1)^-2 . Personally i would use the quotient rule as the main rule by leaving the problem as y = t / (t - 1)²
