If g(x) = 2x + 1 and h(x) = 4x2 + 4x + 7, find a function f such that f g = h. how to do this question? Thank you in advance!

Hi mint. The thread title says f(g(x)), so I'll use that.

The binomial 2x+1 goes into function f, and the trinomial 4x^2+4x+7 comes out.

Here are two questions to consider. What could we do with 2x, to obtain 4x^2? What would happen were we to do the same thing with 2x+1?
