p0 = parent population proportion
ps = sample proportion
n = sample size
Assume all conditions for inference are satisfied.
Hypothesis
H0:ps=p0
H1=ps>p0 or ps<p0 or ps=p0
Standard deviation of population = σ=p0(1−p0)
Standard deviation of the sampling distribution of the difference in proportions = σs
σs=nσ
Compute z score, z=σsps−p0
Look up p-value for computed z.
If p-value ≤α then reject H0.
Correct?
Also, I don't understand this part
