can someone help me and tell me if my answer is correct in this ?!
2 log { base 2 } of x - log { base 2 } of [(x/2) - 1] - 4 = 0
log { base 2 } of (x^2) - log { base 2 } of [(x/2) - 1] = 4
log { base 2 } of {(x^2)/[(x/2) - 1]} = 4
{(x^2)/[(x/2) - 1]} = (4^2)
{(x^2)/[(x/2) - 1]} = 16
(x^2) = 16 [(x/2) - 1]
(x^2) = 16x - 16
(x^2) - 8x + 16 = 0
(x - 4) (x - 4) = 0
so
x = 4
is my answer correct ?!
