How do I find out 4/5 of 4 gallons? I dont know if it is fractions or percent but I have a 4 gallon bucket now I need to know how to put 4/5 of water in it. Help

When you see "4/5 of 4" in a word problem, it indicates multiplication:

(4/5)(4) = 16/5 = 3 1/5 gallons

So 3 1/5 gallons will make your 4 gallon bucket 4/5 full. Hope that helps.
