Algebra I: Find the absolute value of each number

Find the absolute value of each number:

. . .-26
. . .126
. . .-1.2
. . .-1/2
 
Strictly speaking, the absolute value of a number is its distance from zero.
So plot each of the numbers on a number line.
Then say how many units the number is from zero.
Remember that distance is never negative.
