Hi i need help with analytic geometry pls
the question is :
"A circle whose center is in the first quadrant touches the x-axis at the point (3,0)D and also touches the straight line 3x-4y+36=0
Find the equation of the circle."

Thanks in advance

To obtain faster assistance, please re-read the "Read Before Posting" post at the top of this category, and reply with the requested information.

Is the "D" after "the point (3,0)" a typo? If not, what does it mean?

For a circle to "touch" a line, the line must be tangent to the circle. What slope does the line have? What slope then will the tangent have?

Please reply with a clear listing of your thoughts and efforts, including answers to the above.

Thank you!

Eliz.
