All – taking a math class after being out of school for a while. One of the questions that will be in our list of discussions is
Q. Describe the relationship between area and volume? Would you say that it is similar to calculating an area if you sliced it into narrower & narrower lengths? Could the idea of calculating the area under a curve be expanded to the calculation of the volume of a sphere? Or a square to a cube? Consider the structural differences of apples, potatoes, onions.
All thoughts appreciated
