Total expenditure within 31 days = Rs 2108

Total expenditure within 32 days = Rs 2142

Now subtracting 2142 - 2108 gives 34 which is what??

I am assuming the last 17 days are the last 17 days of July. Meaning the first of the 17 days is also the last of the first 15 days.
