Hey all i have been trying to work this out for a while and i got the answer but i did it in a weird way
Is there a more a practical way?
A bucket 3/4 full contains 250 mL of water. How much water will the buck contain when 4/5 full.
The way i did it was
3/4 = 75%
to work out what is 100%
0.75 / 250 = 333.333 (not sure what this means but i used it before in other scenarios)
then i worked out what % 4/5 is
4/5 x 100/1 = 400/5
80%
then 80% of 333.333
.80 * 333.333
= 266.666
Is this the best way to do it?
