stuck on this basic geometry problem. I just don't have anyone available to help explain it to me. How does RS not equal 30? thanks.

You might start by labeling any angles you know; for example, what is angle RTS? You might also mark congruent segments, which could be helpful in identifying angles.

Then there are several theorems you might have learned that you can use to find the central angle RPS, which is the measure of arc RS. If you tell us what theorems you have learned recently, that can help us give useful hints.

If you need help after these hints, please show what you have tried, so we can see what help you need. Also, tell us why you think RS would equal 30 degrees!
