I have been trying this set of problems all day and I cannot figure them out. Not asking someone to do them for me just if you could walk me through how to do one of them I could figure out the rest thank you!

Have you considered the Product Rule? You will need that and the Chain Rule.

I'll give you and example (d/dx)(x^3*y^2) = (d/dx)(x^3)* y^2 + x^3*(d/dx)(y^2) = 3x^2*y^2 + x^3*2y(dy/dx)

Where is the Product Rule?

[math]\dfrac{d}{dx}x^{3}y = x^{3}\dfrac{dy}{dx} + 3x^{2}y[/math]
Whatever you did to get 'y' in the denominator, please don't ever do that again.

for the first one what I get for an answer is dy/dx=-(3x^2)/y
Where are you getting the division by y using the product rule? If you show us your work we can help otherwise it is quite hard.

Just as mysteriously, whence came the negative sign? Please show ALL your work. Very hard to tell where you wandered off with no information.
