Hey, so I have a problem about percentages.

So I have two items, Item A and Item B. These items are both worth the same amount, let's say 10$.

Item A has gotten 13 increases in price, all of 280% after eachother. Let's say that the owner increased the price by 280%, 13 times in a row.

Item B has gotten 1 big increase in price of 15000%.

Which of the items are worth more?

Please follow the rule of posting in this forum, enunciated at:

Hint:

What is the price of Item B, after it has gotten 1 big increase in price of 15000%?

Increasing by 280% means multiplying by 3.80 (1+ 2.80) so doing that 13 times gives the price times \(\displaystyle 3.80^{13}= \). 34449804. If the original amount was $10 that would be $344,498,040. That will be much more than 15100% or $151,000.
