Hello! I have a specific question:

What does EY|X(Y+1|X) mean given 0 < x < 4 and 0 < y < 2 ? I know how this kind of expected values are calculated but I am not sure about the boundaries here and what I should replace.

fX,Y(x,y) = (x+2y)/32
fX(x) = (x+2)/16

Thanks!

Changing the notation a bit so it is clearer:
E(Y+1|X)
f(x,y) = (x+2y)/32
f(x) = (x+2)/16

Please define your notation (I've added some subscripts you probably intended) and particularly what your two f's mean. Are you talking about something like this?

And show us your work as far as you get, so we can see what your method is and where you are unsure.
