Hello, my teacher recently posted this frq for us to do. He gave the class a hint that this last part has something to do with using the intermediate value theorem. I feel like I'm stuck and don't know where to start. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!Screenshot 2020-05-10 at 2.19.50 PM.pngScreenshot 2020-05-10 at 2.20.04 PM.png

So after some thinking, I used these definitions to come up with this answer. Is my reasoning correct?

Revised I should also say it's due to both functions being continuous so they will have to cross each other at some point
