Although not an assignment, for consideration: In human experience, there is perception of pain, and perception of sound. Which is exponential? Which is logarithmic? Name something else that is best described as exponential or logarithmic (as opposed to polynomial or trigonometric)

Are you just talking about human perception? Or can I mention radioactive decay as being exponential?

In a chromatic musical scale, we perceive the increase in pitch/frequency as being linear, and is shown linearly on the staff, but the actual frequency change is exponential.
