Part 1: 30% of the USA is forest today compared to 50% in 1630. 300 million acres has been converted to mostly farmland.
So if 20% of every continent has been converted since 1600 what effect would that have on wind speed across
the surface of the earth, considering that a tree acts as a wind buffer?
Part 2: considering the area covered by cities since 1600, roads, factories, tarmacs, tar, concrete: is climate change as in
HEATING more a result of covering the earth with heat producing sources namely cities and roads rather then carbon gas?
or a percentage of heating?

What formula did they give you for this? How far have you gotten in applying it? Where are you stuck?

Please be complete. Thank you! ;)
