Combination of item colours

I have an object that is made up of 3 items. Each of these items can be 1 of 6 colours.
What would be the possible combinations be for this.

i.e.
Item 1 - White, Item 2 - White, Item 3 - White
Item 1 - White, Item 2 - White, Item 3 - Black
Item 1 - White, Item 2 - Black, Item 3 - Black
etc etc.....

Now if I had 2 of these 3 items, i.e. a pair, what would be the combinations of them combined.

I suspect that are no replies because I for one have no idea what is being asked
If there are six different colours from which to pick three, reputation allowed, then there
\(\dbinom{5+3}{3}=56\) different colour schemes.
I have not a clue what "if I had 2 of these 3 items, i.e. a pair, what would be the combinations of them combined." could mean?
