I have missed some school due to very sick children, I am trying to catch up on my own. Here is what I need help with. Compound interest.
The priciple is $2000 the rate of interest is 8.8% the time is 4 years. What is the amount in the account?

Your book should have mentioned this formula, and given examples of its use, before assigning problems on it. Fortunately, there are many lessons online containing this formula, explaining the variables, and demonstrating its use:

. . . . .Google results for "compound interest formula"

Once you have caught up on the content your textbook omitted, please attempt the exercise. If you get stuck, please reply showing everything you have tried.

Thank you.
