this is regarding creating an equation the form of y = a sin(x-d)+c

please confirm answer

from y=sinx what is equation that is transformed
vertically compressed by a factor of 0.25
reflected in the x-axis
shifted 65 degrees to the left
shifted down 1 unit

answer :

y = -0.25sin(x+65 degrees)-1

Why do you doubt?

No requirement for horizontal compression? Too bad.

maybe i accidentally posted it twice, forgive me

can anyone confirm the answer is correct for me just want to make sure

I think your answer is correct, however, it's not in the required form, which is:

[MATH]y=-0.25\sin\left(x-\left(-65^{\circ}\right)\right)+(-1)[/MATH]

I do not have a problem that you posted it twice but to say you did it by accident...well I have a problem with that. One doesn't forget things like that.

As far a your answer goes, it seems just fine. Good job!
You can always confirm this by yourself by using a graphing utility
