I am studying for a physics final and upon studying, got confused on how my professor did the math for part of an equation and just on how he got from one step to the next. I've added the two steps in the attached document and drew red boxes with a red arrow to show what I had been confused on. I did not understand how he took the V on both sides of the equation so that V would end up on the outside but would be divided by Fa and Fb on each side. Any clarity on it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!
