I have a circle with pivot point in it's center. At one side of the circle is an arm and at the opposite point of the circle is a counterweight.
I want the circle to balance when the arm is pushed through it's range to any position.
I am not even sure if my thinking of the diagram is correct as most of the diagrams I see explaining this show the weights hanging from a single point?
How would I go about explaining the rate of increase/decrease in weight of the counterbalance? Or put it into a simple formula? rate of change?
Regards
