If I need to find the convolution of f(t)=e^(at) and g(t)=e^(bt), where a and be are not equal....

I integrate e^(at) e^(b(t-tau)) dtau from 0 to t....

Does this mean that I treat t as a constant here, and can therefore just pull e^(at) out of the integral? Or if not, what's the best way to approach this?
