First calculate EF as a function of 'x'.

Then calculate the area of the shaded triangle.... and continue.

What are your thoughts?

First calculate EF as a function of 'x'.

Then calculate the area of the shaded triangle.... and continue.

So basically I calculated EF as 2*sqrt(a^2-x^2). How do I go about calculating the triangle area? What is the height in this case? Is the height d, then the area is d*sqrt(a^2-x^2)
