Denis, Denis, Denis … sigh …

Why "model" anything?
It's evident that to get max revenue, as many parents as possible
are required, since they pay more than students.
So groups of 2 parents and 1 student are required.
150 / 5 = 50, @ $5 each = $250.

Corner....Corner......

Huh?

2 parents and 1 student = 3.....like pop/mom/sonny
how do you get 5.....been drinking Khans of beer?:p

Plus your change 150/5 = 30, not 50 : double corner time!!

Triple corner time, for you, Denis! (You've been misreading too many posts, lately. Are you okay?)

You posted 150/5 = 50

Subhotosh corrected your typo

He then spilled his own blood, to MAKE CLEAR the error of your ways

You immediately jumped on his case

tsk, tsk, tsk …

PS: You've been off the wagon for a long time, but maybe all those previous years of heavy drinking are beginning to take their toll, eh? :p

....which is correct....BUT did not realise that Subhotosh had
edited it: thought it was my original...so full shame/blame on ME :(

Moving my Lazy-Boy to the corner...

My last drink was Apr.8/85l On Apr.9th, I was rich:
returned all my empties :p

The year 851? Man, you are OLD!! :p

I'm on a Canadian forum (not math related) and I'm the old man there, as well as one of only a few Yanks. I've been thinking about inviting Denis so I will no longer be "the old dude." Plus, these kids think they know everything there is about wisecracking. hehehe...muahahahaha. Okay, maybe I went a little too far there?

Wisecracking can only be done effectively by the wise!

I used to rationalize, a bit like:
I ain't gonna drink no more
But I ain't gonna drink no less!

One of my uncles had a sign in his workshop that read:

I cut my drinking in half...I got rid of the mixers.

Keep 'em coming. :D I can adapt 'em for use at my favorite watering hole.

You see, when I feel the barkeep's not paying attention to empty glasses, I go into my Rodney Dangerfield routine.

EG (somewhat loudly): "I get no respect; no respect at all, I tell ya. Took my kid to the zoo; they said 'thanks for returning him'. No respect at all!!"

The last sentence spoken even more loudly, looking the barkeep straight in the eye, heh. It'll be fun, to inject some bar-themed material.
