Here we go again. Asking for help with solving a problem and asking someone to solve a problem for you are not the same.
This forum is not a homework service site. It is a help site.

You really should have read the posting guidelines. If you had, you would have read that in order to receive help from this forum you need to show your work or at least state why you don't know how to even start the problem. If you show your work, then the helpers here know which method you want to use to solve the problem and where you might have made an error.

Please post back showing your work so we can help you. That is why we are here.
 
Hint 1: There is an obvious trivial solution, namely y = 0.

Hint 2: What do you know about characteristic equations?

For (3) the characteristic equation is \(\displaystyle r^4- 2r^2- 5r+ 6= 0\). Can you solve that? Do you know what to do with the roots?

For (4) do you know what "matrix notation" is?
