here's a sample problem... i'm supposed to simplify this equation... they are telling me it's wrong... i'll show my work and some one Please show me where i'm messing up.. PLEASE,

-12m-8 <----- that's as far as i'm supposed to go, but apparently this is wrong, so now i'm confused.... Help

Ok so it's -4(m-4)
-4*-4
And the product two like signs is always +
I think i got it now...

you see i didn't go to high school, i was homeschooled and my parents didn't exactly make sure i studied, and they never expressed the importance of Mathematics... so i'm having to learn alot... Thanks again,
