What are the values of 'x's where f(x) tends to infinity - in other words becomes DNE?

The first step in simplifying a rational expression is to determine the domain which is the set of all possible values of the variables. The denominator in a fraction cannot be zero because division by zero is undefined.
so you have to find values for x that will make the denominator equal to 0, and the domain will be all real numbers except those who makes the denominator 0.
