(3^3)^2/3 ====how does it become====> (3^2)

For others with questions about it
Watch the parentheses on the exponent!
[imath](a^b)^c = a^{bc}[/imath]

Here a = 3, b = 3, c = 2/3, so bc = 2. Thus (3^3)^(2/3) = 3^(2) = 9.
