hi
Hoping someone can help, I’m working through a problem and it’s saying I should get

Here’s the actual question

But I’m getting a 0.8j on the end, due to the starting height. Does anyone know where I’m going wrong?

Always always always state where your origin is. I didn't look at the whole analysis but yes, you will have a [imath]0.8 \hat{j}[/imath] as a part of the position vector if you are using the origin as the point 0.8 units below where the axis is represented on the diagram. But it looks like the origin set by the OP is where the particle starts so the [imath]0.8 \hat{j}[/imath] will not be there.
