So the task goes: School library contains 28 books from math, 16 from physics, 10 from chemistry and 15 from biology, in how many ways can a student take one book each from four of those subjects?
So its 28x16x10x15 to get the result?

Yes, if there are really only four subjects mentioned. But 'd expect the wording to be "from those four subjects", not "from four of those subjects".

By the way, the word is "combinatorics".
