I don't under the meaning of interrupt in this article:
what is interrupt in the senetence:
Bankman-Fried's attorney, Alexandra Shapiro, was almost immediately and hten repeatedly interrupted by the three-judge panel on the 2nd Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals as she tried to make her case that SBF deserved a new trails because the first one was "fundamentally unfair."
I know that the meaning to stop but I don't understand the meaning and the content.

When you use a dictionary, be sure to look beyond one-word "definitions":

3. to stop (a person) in the midst of doing or saying something, especially by an interjected remark.
May I interrupt you to comment on your last remark?

If I talk while you are still talking, I am interrupting you. I am not, in fact, "stopping" you, but trying to!
