f(t) = - 1 - t + t2 , 0 < t < 3
Define g(t), an even periodic extension of f(t).
Evaluate:
g(-1)
g(4)
and also state T, the period of g(t).
From what I understand, T = 6 as the range just becomes -3 < t < 3. I also know g(t) should be a half range cosine series, making all sine coefficients zero.
I am I right in saying that f(t) = g(t) ? Any help appreciated, thanks.
