EGs: 0.05 is 5% 0.0625 is 6.25% 0.44 is 44% 1.9 is 190% Do you know? Multiplying a decimal number by 100 is the same as shifting the decimal point two places to the right. Cheers ~ Mark

You can't have equality between your second to the last step and the last step. \(\displaystyle (100)(.004) = .4 \ne .4\%\)
