what synbols on the keyboard do i use to ask questions that require inequality signs
(greater than and lesser than sign on top of a slash)

I use the < and > symbols that are obtained with the shift key and the comma and period key. To get < and > symbols I simply underline each by using the underline button which is the third one from the left just outside the upper left corner of this box (the box in which you post your question/reply).

You can also use "number pad" with "num lock" on the following sequece

press alt key and type 242(on number pad) to get ? (greater than or equal to)

press alt key and type 243(on number pad) to get ? (less than or equal to)
