algebra expressions, I am supposed to write an example of --the product of a number and -8.What do they mean ? and

Well I was actually wondering if I was right at all, I had x + -8. Is this even close ? Cause otherwise I am totally lost. Thanx

Sorry, but no: "product" does not mean "adding". :oops:

So please follow the link (provided earlier) and study at least two or three of the lessons listed. And have fun! :wink:

OOOHHHHH !

I get it now, x x -8, or I guess you write it x * -8 . Right ?? I thought the word "and" meant to add, I wasn't reading it right. That first web sight on the list you sent me was great. Thankyou !

Yes; usually shown this way: -8x

a/b (division)
ab (multiplication: a times b)
